At the Spa we love chatting with you. And some questions come up a lot, so it seemed a good idea to pop the answers down for you if you’re thinking of coming for a treatment. We’ll get to know you better when you come in and one of our friendly therapists does your lifestyle consultation with you but for now, hello!
With tints, waxes and eyelash extensions, do I need a patch test if I have had them at other salons?
In short, yes! As a professional salon, Spa Satori is all about giving a great service and taking our customers’ health seriously. Whilst you may have had similar patch tests with other salons, it is our responsibility to ensure the particular products we use are safe and reaction-free for our customers. So just give us a call on 0161 819 2465 or pop in. We can arrange a time that suits for you to come in, enjoy a brew and keep your skin safe.
There so many treatments available, I’m not sure which would be right for me, can you help?
Of course! We offer a range of beauty and wellbeing treatments so to get the results you want the best thing to do is book in for a consultation. We’ll take time out with you to understand your needs, lifestyle, skin type and can even do a patch test whilst we’re there. That way you can effectively plan the treatments most suitable for you to look and feel your best.
Do you treat men?
This is one of the top questions we get asked at the Spa. We absolutely welcome gents who want to look and feel good. When you’ve invested in a fantastic suit, you don’t want your hands to let your professional look down. After a hard day, what better way to relax than with a full body massage? Or maybe you’re going to a wedding for the first time with your partner and want to make a great impression? Whatever the occasion, men are welcome at Spa Satori. Check how Gordo from Manchester Confidential loved his massage, facial, pedicure and manicure at Spa Satori.
I’ve heard colonics have amazing health benefits, but I’m also nervous, can you help?
Colonic hydrotherapy is a brilliant way to kick start and maintain your gut’s health in a relaxing and pampering experience. You can find out more about the process from a vloggers experience of having a colonic at Spa Satori. And you’re welcome to discuss any questions in a consultation, please don’t feel embarrassed.
How long does hair need to be for a wax?
We recommend hair to have 1cm regrowth before a wax for best results. Hot wax treatments are available for intimate waxing for women and men, with the added benefit of being able to grab hairs as short as 1mm. If in doubt, any of our experienced therapists can advise in a consultation or over the phone.
